Hi, I'm Alexandra!

I'm an eventer and OTTB owner, avid hiker and artist, and I happen to have a pretty green thumb. I am currently pursuing a Bachelors in Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology at the University of Kentucky and am a member of the UK Eventing Team. This path of study has allowed me to look deep into the science behind plant growth, function, and genetics and develop a deep respect for the field of conservation genetics. In between my studies and riding, I took up photography and fell in love. Academia has taught the the importance of connections and networking, and photography allows me to communicate in ways I can't with just my words. Everyone's story deserves to be captured and shared.

Spending so much time with plants and in nature has influenced my photography style greatly, so I'm always looking to use that nice old oak as a backdrop, or make those flowers into a nice handheld bouquet (or a snack for the ponies...) while showcasing the partnerships on the other side of my lens.
